About The Authorized Directory

Partnered with the SIA Anti-Counterfeit Task Force

With the growing problem of counterfeit semiconductors and substandard parts entering the global marketplace, the SIA, Rochester Electronics and the semiconductor manufacturers in this directory have combined to create a worldwide reference source for purchasing from authorized distributors. To avoid counterfeit semiconductors, there is only one sure way to protect yourself, your company, and your product reputation, and that is to buy from the original semiconductor manufacturer or their authorized distributors.

This directory has been created through the endorsement of the Semiconductor Industry Association (SIA) Anti-Counterfeit Task Force. Through a network of corporate CEOs and working committees, SIA shapes public policy on issues critical to the semiconductor industry and provides a spectrum of services to aid members in growing their businesses. Since 1977, the SIA has been the leading voice for the semiconductor industry and currently represents more than 85% of the U.S. semiconductor manufacturers.

The Authorized Directory Purpose

"The purpose of this directory is simple. It is your handbook for finding an authorized distributor for the parts that will guarantee their traceability. The SIA Anti-Counterfeit Task Force, Rochester Electronics, and semiconductor manufacturers are providing this to ensure the reliability and safety of the products being purchased. We hope this useful tool will be valuable to customers and will seriously reduce the problems associated with counterfeit and substandard products currently in the supply chain."
Daryl Hatano, VP of Public Policy, SIA.
